Now it’s time to share with you the idea about the 2nd day in Paris. Maybe you still have some strength left and I hope so, because as I said in my previous article, to see the beauty of Paris, you have to walk.
Let’s start the second day with Sacré Cœur and Montmartre. They are a mandatory part of discovering Parisian beauties. Starting the visit with the square Jean Rictus, also called the “I love you” wall. Then continue the visit going down the streets till you arrive in front of the imposing Sacré Cœur. If you are hungry I recommend the Relais Gascon restaurant, where you can try the traditional Onion soup, but also big and delicious salads.
Then you can take the bus or the metro, but I would recommend the bus because you can see Paris through. You will pass by the Haussmann Boulevard, where you can see one of the most vivid shopping streets in Paris, with Galeries Lafayettes and Printemps shopping centers. You can continue till one of the most beautiful historical buildings in Paris, Garnier Opera. It is just right to another beautiful monument: Madeleine parish Church.
The last part of the 2nd day in Paris can continue with a walk down the beautiful and chic Saint Honoré street. It will bring you till the Place Vendôme: one of the best places in Paris for luxury shopping. You can then continue down the Castiglione street which will bring you to Tuileries gardens. Here, you can have a rest in the garden chairs before heading to the last station of the today’s visits: Louvre. If you would like to visit the museum itself, it would take you the whole day. So, if you want to do so, be sure to make your stay longer.
