Discovering The Güell Park in Barcelona

Last week-end was great. I had the chance to spend 3 days in the beautiful and festive Barcelona. That was my birthday present and the best one I ever had, at least for now.

Actually, the city is quite big and 3 days are not enough to see all the sightseeing. We started with the Plaça de Catalunya and the very well-known La Rambla Street with all nice restaurants and bars but also magazines for shopping, such as Zara, El Corte Inglés and many other Spanish brands.

Then we decided to visit the magical Güell Park. It is in the same area as Sagrada Familia. If you want to visit the entire park, make sure you have bought your tickets in advance. Actually since 2013, if you want to access to the most beautiful part of the park, you should pay and the biggest inconvenient is that you should wait more that 1h and a half in some cases. They explained us that they cannot leave enter more than 400 people because of the preservation of the park, as it is one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. So, as we haven’t bought tickets in advance we just enjoyed walking in the free area and I enjoyed the moment for taking some pictures. Next time, we will make sure to buy tickets online and have an easier access to this beautiful and unique Güell Park. Because it is for sure, I will come back to Barcelona.
