Little Black Dress in Rome

This summer I had a preference for the little black dress with sneakers. I have to avoid that my boyfriend doesn’t really appreciate this look, but as long as it is comfortable and I am happy with my look, he is satisfied too.

My Nike sneakers, I have been wearing them during all our holidays in the South of Italy. We have been walking so much, having seen so many places, so it was preferable to wear comfortable shoes. And this is twice important when visiting Rome, where everything is within walking distance.

This is the second time I was visiting Rome, this marvelous historical city. And every time I discover new things. I was speaking once about my “addiction” to ice-cream. The one who says Italy, means pizza, pasta and ice-cream of course. We have discovered a delicious ice-cream near the Colosseum. We have visited it twice during our 2-days-stay. I will post soon an article about this place.

Now, something about Rome and discovering its history. For a day, we managed to see the Colosseum (just see from the outside), find the best Italian ice-cream in Rome, near Piazza di S. Pietro in Vincoli (some pictures just below). Then, we saw the Palatino, continuing our walk towards Foro Traiano. Our cultural visit finished with Monumento a Vittorio Emanuele II, to leave the place to a shopping afternoon on the Via del Corso.
